If Something Does Not Work on First Run
Almost every first-run problem is one of four things:
- Login rejected. Usually a typo, or a trailing space copied from the message. Retype the username and password by hand rather than pasting.
- Channels load but nothing plays. Switch the player's decoder setting between hardware and software. On older devices one works where the other does not.
- Guide is empty. The EPG downloads separately from the channel list and can take a few minutes on first launch. If it is still blank afterwards, force a guide refresh in the player settings.
- Buffering on one channel only. That is a single stream, not your setup. Try the alternate feed for the same channel; most popular channels have more than one.
